Modelled this for a contest, but fits into our Halloween theme, so up you go. This was the most complicated illustration I've done. I used Max, Photoshop and Zbrush for all parts, modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering. I tried to capture the feel of a Norman Rockwell painting, subtle humor, and showing an innocent moment in time.

Amazing work. I appreciate modelers that have good anatomy knowledge. The gesture on the figure is great, it really tells the story.

(yes I cut and pasted this from your personal blog, so sue me!)

Whooo! Gorgeous gut, and to parrot Vinod, that anatomy is egregiously good. The Saturday Evening Post setup is a great approach too, very unique. Just a big HOLLA all around!

Great muscles and fat. Fun narrative; I love the look on his face! Also like the subtly placed before and after pics in the background.

Beautiful stuff! I can't wait until this summer when I'll have more time to try out Zbrush and Maya a little more extensively. Don't forget to title your posts, for some reason ones without a title don't show up in my RSS feeds and I stumbled upon this one accidentally! :P
